You can check-in for your flight with us in one of the following ways: online via our website, using your mobile telephone and our native applications, via our mobile website, directly at check-in desks and, at selected airports, via self-check-in kiosks. All options are free of charge.
Online Check-in
Check in for your flight via our website or via the Czech Airlines mobile application from 36 to 1 hour before departure.
If you travel with cabin baggage only, you can check-in for your flight on our website or in our mobile application, print your boarding pass, or download it to your mobile / smart watch and proceed directly to security screening after arrival at the airport.
If you travel with checked baggage, it is necessary to first drop the baggage off at the assigned airport desk.
The online check-in service is available on all regular scheduled Czech Airlines operated flights (the OK 0001 - OK 2999 flights).
Passenger Rights
If you are denied boarding or if your flight is cancelled or delayed by two hours at a minimum, ask the check-in counter or boarding gate agents for the text stating your rights, particularly with regard to compensation and assistance. Detailed information is available in Directive 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
Exceptions to the online check-in service:
- departure procedures followed at certain selected destinations with tickets purchased under the LITE price package do not support advanced boarding pass printing. In these cases, please pick your boarding pass up at the airport check-in counter,
- in most cases, it is possible to use online check-in offered by the operating airline on OK 3000-5999 flights operated by partner air carriers, e.g. Smartwings (QS), Air France (AF), Aeroflot (SU), KLM (KL), Korean Air (KE), Tarom (RO), Iberia (IB), Ukraine International Airlines (PS).
Check-in is not available:
- on OK 3000-5999 flights operated by partner air carriers without the online check-in option offered by the operating airline,
- with requested unaccompanied minor or airport assistance services.
In the above cases, please contact the airport check-in desk.
Airport Desk Check-in
You can check-in free of charge for Czech Airlines operated flights at airport check-in desks. The number of the desk assigned for checking-in for your flight is displayed on the airport information desk. Desks labelled “BAGGAGE DROP OFF” are reserved for dropping-off checked baggage by passengers using website check-in, mobile telephone check-in or self-check-in kiosks.
Please Note:
Please arrive at the airport for check-in and security screening allowing enough time: We recommend at least 2 hours for long‑haul and medium‑haul flights and at least 1 hour for short‑haul flights. At Václav Havel Airport Prague, check‑in closes 40 minutes before the scheduled departure of the flight with the exception of flights to Beirut and Riyadh where check in closes 60 minutes before the scheduled departure.
Self-Check-in Kiosks
Identification upon checking-in for your flight is available using:
- a valid payment card (debit or credit),
- passport with a machine-readable record,
- the 2D bar code on your ticket,
- by manually entering your electronic ticket number.
Then follow the instructions given by the kiosk, until the printing of your boarding pass. If interested, you can also print your travel itinerary.
